Northern Territory Scenery

Northern Territory was unbelievably green after a big wet season. The scenery changed so quickly and regularly that it was never boring. Every day was interesting and it was never the same twice. We were very lucky to see it this way, but I think it would be just as interesting when it is dry.  Had a quick look at Katherine, a very nice well loved town, another good place to stop next time.

This is at Victoria River and taken on the old bridge and you can see the new one above us. In the wet season the old bridge is sometimes under water which must be awesome to see!

Victoria River Roadhouse, the sign is an interesting variation, makes one wonder!

Our home on wheels. Cant resist putting one of these on every now and then.

Incredible hills, mountains, breakaways and ridges, so many and so awesome...

How's that for green?
You can just see Steve and Sue's van in front of us.
Don't forget to click on the pictures to see them enlarged!
Look forward to visiting the Northern territory again soon.

  1. Nice helicopter, almost obscured by some damn caravan parked in front of it!
