Bush Camping
Bush camping not far out of Port Augusta, looked a good spot away from the road and for entertainment we had a train track about 100 yards away. Those trains were huge and sounded very loud at 2.30am. Got a wave & a toot from the breakfast one.
Second night heading up to Coober Pedy, camped in a rest area as it was too wet to go off the road area. Thank goodness for the fire as it was bitterly cold at night but lovely during the day. Incredible changing scenery but again just can't show it in photo's. We were supposed to be going up the Oonadatta Track but due to 2 inches of rain, parts of the track were closed so had a change of plans.
Bryon and I live in Albany, Western Australia and have been married for 7 very happy years. We have four children between us and at the moment eight grandchildren plus one on the wayas well.We both love camping, travelling, good wine and fine dining and great books! The kids call our place "Restauraunt Porteous" mainly due to Bryon's great cooking!Unfortunatly since I got sick last year I haven't done much on the blog I will try to do more in the coming months as we head north agin for winter.
